(1) at 080000z, tropical storm 25w (twentyfive) was located
near 21.0n 157.4e, approximately 530 nm west of Wake Island, and had
tracked east-northeastward at 08 knots over the past six hours.
Maximum sustained surface winds were estimated at 40 knots gusting to
