Now At 11 am...National Weather Service Doppler radar detected scattered showers ongoing across eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. The activity remains mostly confined to northeast Oklahoma and far northwest Arkansas...and is moving east at around 25 miles per hour. Through 12:15 PM...light to moderate rainfall will persist for much of northeast Oklahoma...especially along and on either side of Highway 412. The activity will be decreasing in coverage across far northwest Arkansas where occasional light showers will be possible during this time. Isolated showers will be possible for areas along and south of an Okemah to Cass line. Additional rainfall of around one tenth of an inch will be common...with locally higher amounts of one half inch possible...mainly with the activity along Highway 412. |
