Now Through 230 PM...scattered thunderstorms will continue developing across the region. The greatest concentration of afternoon storms will focus west of the I-55 corridor from dolorosa to Baton Rouge to Thibodaux and Houma. A sea breeze along the southeastern Mississippi coastline will continue initiating isolated storms along and north of the I-10 corridor. As storm move to the north around 10 mph they will produce wind gusts that do not exceed 40 mph. Occasional lightning will remain as the main hazard with initially developing storms. |
