The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a High Wind
Warning... which is in effect from 1 am to 6 PM MST Saturday. The
Wind Advisory is now in effect until 1 am MST Saturday. The high
wind watch is no longer in effect.

Southwest winds of 20 to 35 mph... with gusts from 40 to 50 mph
will continue through late this evening.

By early Saturday morning... winds have the potential to become even
stronger. Sustained winds of 30 to 40 mph with gusts from 50 to 65
mph are expected... continuing through Saturday. Locally higher gusts
are possible just east of Flagstaff... from the San Francisco peaks
to Doney Park.

Localized portions of the Little Colorado River valley... as well
as portions of I-40 from Two Guns to the New Mexico border...
could see even higher winds. Gusts as high as 75 mph will be
possible in these areas late tonight through Saturday. These winds
will cause areas of blowing dust and sand... as well as the
potential for some structural damage.

A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected
or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph... or gusts
of 58 mph or more... are expected and can lead to property damage.
