Winter Storm Watch
Statement as of 11:39 am MDT on October 10, 2008

... Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from 6 PM MDT this
evening through late Saturday night...

A Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from 6 PM MDT this evening
through late Saturday night.

However... a Winter Storm Warning is looking increasingly likely
as weather conditions deteriorate tonight and on Saturday. The
Winter Storm Warning will likely be issued this afternoon...
covering the period from tonight through Saturday night.

Locations in the watch area will likely see significant
snow... possibly in excess of 6 inches. The snow and brisk winds
will create hazardous travel conditions in the watch area with
slick and snow-packed roads and poor visibilities possible.

The wet and cool weather may also affect stock-growers who may
want to consider providing additional feed for their livestock
over the weekend.

Stay tuned to National Weather Service forecasts and statements
for the latest on this developing storm. A Winter Storm Watch
means there is a potential for significant snow... sleet... or ice
accumulations that may impact travel.
