... Winter Storm Warning now in effect until 12 PM MDT Sunday...

The Winter Storm Warning is now in effect until 12 PM MDT Sunday.

Snowfall will increase today... becoming heavy at times. A brief
lull in the snowfall is expected late tonight before the snowfall
rate picks up again Saturday and continues through Sunday m0rning. The
potential for 6 to 12 inches of snow exists in Yellowstone Park by
late Saturday night with 1 to 2 feet possible in the mountains.
The Cody foothills can expect 8 to 14 inches. In addition...
northeast winds of 20 to 30 mph will create blowing and drifting
snow.

Hunters... travelers and others with outdoor interests should pay
close attention to the weather forecast. Listen to NOAA Weather
Radio or your favorite media outlet for the latest forecasts and
winter statements.
