| Now A roughly 90 mile wide band of moderate...to at times heavy rain will continue marching east across much of south central Nebraska and north central Kansas this evening. Through 900 PM...the heaviest rain will reside east of Highway 281...where places like Osceola...York and Hebron Nebraska can expect accumulations between one quarter and one half inch through 900 PM. Farther west...a bit lighter rain will continue falling in places like Ord...Grand Island...Hastings...Smith Center and Osborne...with hourly rates generally under two tenths of an inch. Even farther west...steady rain should temporarily end by 900 PM in areas west of Kearney and Franklin Nebraska...and Phillipsburg and Stockton Kansas. However...additional rainfall will move back into these areas later tonight. |
