Now Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue across sections of north Mississippi through midnight...mainly north of a line from Cleveland to Tchula to Macon. Most activity will move to the south around 15 miles an hour. However...a few storms will move much slower and will produce longer periods of heavy rainfall that may result in ponding water on roadways and in low lying areas. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches will be possible in stronger slow moving storms. Gusty wind will also be possible. |
