National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated a line of showers and thunderstorms that will move into Tyler and Hardin counties before 7 am and into Jasper...Newton...Orange and Jefferson County in southeast Texas before 8 am. This line of storms will produce strong and gusty winds...cloud to ground lightning and brief periods of heavy rainfall. Storms are moving to the east this morning. Elsewhere...isolated showers over the Gulf south of Jefferson County are moving to the northeast and towards Sabine Pass.
