midnight MDT Saturday night...

The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a
Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow... which is in
effect from 12 PM Saturday to midnight MDT Saturday night.

Snow will develop in the morning... increasing during the afternoon
and is expected to bring 4 to 8 inches of new snow with locally
higher amounts by late Saturday evening. In addition... strong
south winds ranging from 20 to 30 mph with occasional gusts to 50
mph will generate widespread blowing and drifting snow.

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
