... Winter Storm Warning now in effect until 6 am MDT Sunday...

The Winter Storm Warning is now in effect until 6 am MDT Sunday.

Snowfall will continue today. Snowfall reports from today indicate
that 2 to 4 inches of snow has already fallen. A brief lull in the
snowfall is expected late tonight before the snowfall rate picks
up again Saturday and continues through Saturday night. Snowfall
rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour are expected Saturday afternoon
through Saturday night. 8 to 16 inches of snow to fall across the
Green Mountains by late Saturday night. In addition... strong
northeast will create considerable blowing and drifting snow as
well as white out conditions as winds are expected to gust to 40
mph on Saturday and Saturday evening.

Hunters... travelers and others with outdoor interests should pay
close attention to the weather forecast. Listen to NOAA Weather
Radio or your favorite media outlet for the latest forecasts and
winter statements.

Remember... a Winter Storm Warning means severe winter weather
