the Flood Warning continues for
the Rock River at Newville.
* Until this evening.
* At 0200 PM Saturday the stage was 10.02 feet.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by late this
afternoon.
* At 10.0 feet... floodwaters affect homes and boat docks in the
Blackhawk Island area of Lake Koshkonong on the north side of the
lake. Floodwaters spread over low spots in Blackhawk Lake Road in
the area where the Rock River enters the lake.
