... Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 4 am PST Sunday for the
central and north Cascades...

The National Weather Service in Seattle has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect until 4 am PST
Sunday. The Winter Storm Warning has ended.

Intermittent snow showers will continue over the Cascades
tonight... mainly at and above 3000 feet. Additional snow
accumulations tonight will range from 3 to 9 inches. Higher
amounts will be near Mount Rainier with the lower amounts in the
major Highway passes... such as Stevens and Snoqualmie.

Snow showers will continue on Sunday... but snowfall intensity will
subside.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while driving.

Showers...most numerous in the morning. Snow level 3500 feet. Snow accumulation 2 to 6 inches. Afternoon pass temperatures in the mid 30s. Southwest wind in the passes near 10 mph.

Breezy. Rain and snow likely in the evening...then mostly cloudy with a chance of rain and snow after midnight. Snow level 4500 feet. Snow accumulation 1 to 3 inches...except 3 to 6 inches north Cascades. Southeast wind in the passes 10 to 25 mph.
