... High Wind Warning now in effect until noon PST today for The
Headlands and beaches along the South Washington and north Oregon
coasts...

The High Wind Warning has been extended until noon PST today.

A brief period of very strong south winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts
to near 60 mph are expected this morning at the beaches and
coastal headlands of the South Washington and north Oregon
coasts. These winds will be produced ahead of a strong Pacific
cold front.

The winds are expected to decrease by noon once the cold front
moves onshore.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected
or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts
of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage.
