Winter Storm Watch


... Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from late tonight through
Friday evening...

A cold front will move through the region around daybreak Friday. After
the front moves through Friday morning strong westerly flow will
generate heavy snow showers through Friday afternoon and evening.
Total snowfall of a foot is possible with this system. The snow level
will be near 2000 feet late tonight and Friday morning... then fall
to around 1000 feet late Friday afternoon... with snow showers
possible in the Cascade foothills Friday evening.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant
snow accumulations that may impact travel. Continue to monitor
