dense fog advisory in effect until 10 am CST for the eastern Texas and Oklahoma panhandles... Low clouds and areas of fog have developed across the panhandles this morning. Through 900 am CST...areas most likely impacted by the low clouds and fog will be locations across the eastern Texas and Oklahoma panhandles...including the communities of Dumas... Perryton...Canadian...Miami...and Pampa. Visibilities may be reduced to a quarter of a mile at times. Motorists in these areas should exercise caution due to rapidly changing visibilities. In addition...showers and isolated thunderstorms are beginning to develop across parts of the eastern panhandles. These showers and storms are forming along a line from Spearman Texas to Slapout Oklahoma as a cold front moves into the area. Rainfall amounts will average around a tenth of an inch or less.
