... Dense fog advisory in effect until 10 am CST this morning...

The National Weather Service in Amarillo has issued a dense fog
advisory... which is in effect until 10 am CST this morning for the
eastern one third of the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles.

Areas of dense fog are expected this morning across the eastern parts
of the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles. Visibilities will be reduced to
one quarter mile or less at times.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

dense fog advisory in effect until 10 am CST for the eastern Texas and Oklahoma panhandles... Low clouds and areas of fog have developed across the panhandles this morning. Through 600 am CST...areas most likely impacted by the low clouds and fog will be locations across the eastern Texas and Oklahoma panhandles...including the communities of Perryton... Canadian...Miami...and Pampa. Visibilities may be reduced to a quarter of a mile at times. Motorists in these areas should exercise caution due to rapidly changing visibilities.
