... Lake Wind Advisory in effect from noon today to midnight EDT
Sunday night for Lake Moultrie...

The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a lake Wind
Advisory... which is in effect from noon today to midnight EDT
Sunday night.

Strong high pressure will build into the the region from the north
today through Sunday. This high will create strong northeast winds
over Lake Moultrie. As early as this afternoon... northeast winds
will increase to average 15 to 20 knots with occasional gusts to
25 knots. Tonight through Sunday evening... northeast winds will
average around 20 knots with frequent gusts to 25 knots. A few
gusts as high as 30 knots may occur.

These strong winds will produce waves of at least 1 to 2 feet on
the Open Lake.

Mariners should use extra caution on Lake Moultrie through Sunday
evening... especially on the Open Lake waters. Stay tuned to NOAA
Weather Radio all hazards... TV or your local news source for the
latest weather information from the National Weather Service in
Charleston.

Frequent showers will persist across southeast South Carolina through the early morning hours. Most rain will be light...and many locations will receive up to 1/10 of an inch of rain through 8 am. However...brief heavy rain will quickly deposit 1/4 inch of rain in a few locations...especially across the Charleston tri-County area.
