Now Scattered showers and thunderstorms over north central Georgia and the southern mountains of North Carolina will move east and south at 25 mph...into northeast Georgia and the western part of the upstate of South Carolina...through the late part of the evening. Through 11 PM...most of the rain will stay to the west and north of Interstate 85. Rainfall amounts will be up to one inch per hour in the heavier showers. The rain may diminish in coverage as it moves off the Blue Ridge. |
