Passing showers and possibly an isolated thunderstorms will move inland from across the coastal waters and affect these areas at least until 6 am AST. Some showers will produce brief periods of locally heavy downpours...which may lead to ponding of water on streets and roadways...as well as reduced visibilities and hazardous driving conditions during the early morning hours. The heaviest rainfall was now occurring across parts of Fajardo and the inland sections between Rio Grande and Canovanas. Meanwhile another area of shower activity was quickly approaching the southern coastal areas between Salinas and Ponce.
