The Flood Watch is now in effect for

* a portion of central Pennsylvania... including the following
counties... Adams... Cumberland... Dauphin... Franklin... Fulton...
Huntingdon... Juniata... Lancaster... Mifflin... Perry and York.

* Through this afternoon.

* Rain will fall heavily at times early today... then taper off
this afternoon. Totals of between 1.5 and 2.5 inches expected by
the time rain tapers off this afternoon.

* Wet ground from recent rainfall... combined with the potential of
additional heavy rain... could produce flooding of streams and
poor drainage areas today.

A Flood Watch means that flooding is possible but not imminent in
the watch area. Check your preparedness requirements... especially
if you have interests along rivers or streams in the area. Keep
informed... and be ready for action if flooding is observed or if
a Flood Warning is issued.
