Frost Advisory
Statement as of 4:05 am PDT on October 11, 2008

... Frost advisory remains in effect until 9 am PDT this morning...

A frost advisory remains in effect until 9 am PDT this morning.

The coldest low temperatures of the early autumn season are
expected across southwest Washington and northwest Oregon this
weekend. The cold minimum temperatures will be the result of a
cold weather system that moved south out of the Gulf of Alaska
into the region.

Morning minimum temperatures today are likely to be in the lower
to mid 30s with some upper 20s possible in outlying areas away
from cities. Many locations are expected to see the first frost of
the fall season. Another cold morning is expected Sunday.

Be sure to protect any tender or vulnerable plants from the near
freezing temperatures. A frost advisory means that frost is
possible. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left
uncovered.

Forecast as of 6:45 am PDT on October 11, 2008
