beginning Thursday...

An area of high pressure located off the California coast will
strengthen today and Wednesday then amplify further on Thursday
and Friday as the center of the high moves over Oregon.
Temperatures are expected to climb well above normal with record
highs likely at a number of locations Thursday and Friday.
