| Now regional weather discussion... around 10 am...surface observations indicated temperatures have already warmed to 100 degrees across far northwest Oklahoma. Elsewhere temperatures were generally in the upper 80s to lower 90s. Winds were from the south and southwest at 10 to 20 mph with higher gusts across northern and central Oklahoma. By noon...temperatures will range from near 105 across northwest Oklahoma to the lower and mid 90s across southcentral and southeast Oklahoma. A cold front located across northern and central Kansas will move slowly to the south today but will likely stall before reaching northern Oklahoma. |
