Now regional weather discussion... the scattered shower and thunderstorm activity seen earlier tonight has all moved east of the NWS Norman County warning area. Although a slow moving cold front will continue to press east across the region...additional development of rain is unlikely. However...we will see some patchy dense fog over portions of the region near and ahead of the front. This dense fog...reducing visibilities to less than one-half mile at times...will affect south-central and far southeast portions of Oklahoma. Once the front passes those locations...increased wind and drier air are expected to improve the fog situation. At 2 am...the front extended from near Stillwater...southward to just east of Norman...to Waurika...to just east of Henrietta Texas. |
