| Now regional weather discussion... Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue to develop across portions of central and southern Oklahoma and western North Texas during the late afternoon hours. Through 6 PM... the most widespread activity will be across southeast Oklahoma... mainly southeast of a line from Holdenville to Marietta. Locally heavy rains in excess of one half inch per hour could lead to water ponding in low lying and other poor drainage areas. Elsewhere... scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will also occur over parts of central and southwest Oklahoma... and western North Texas. Most of this activity will occur in an area between Duncan and Wichita Falls. Most of the showers and isolated thunderstorms will be moving to the north or northwest. The showers and thunderstorms were associated with an upper level low moving slowly eastward across North Texas. |
