Dense Fog Advisory
Statement as of 2:03 am CDT on September 7, 2008

... Dense fog advisory in effect until 9 am CDT this morning...

The National Weather Service in Hastings has issued a dense fog
advisory... which is in effect until 9 am CDT this morning.

Areas of fog will drop visibilities to a range of one quarter to
one half mile..for most areas of south central Nebraska and north
central Kansas. There will be several locations... especially low
lying areas and along river or creek basins... where visibilities
may be down to just 100 or 200 yards for a time. The fog will be
hit and miss in some areas... so travelers through early Sunday
morning should be prepared for potentially rapidly changing
conditions on the Road. Allow some extra travel time to your
destination.

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile.
