Wind Advisory
Statement as of 2:45 PM CDT on August 20, 2008

... Wind Advisory remains in effect until 8 PM CDT this evening...

A Wind Advisory remains in effect until 8 PM CDT this evening.

South winds of 25 to 40 mph with gusts to 45 mph will continue
through early evening... then diminish with sunset. The winds will
result in some localized areas of blowing dust.

Another round of strong south winds to 40 mph is expected on
Thursday afternoon and evening... so another Wind Advisory may be
required then.

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult... especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
