Now A large area of light to moderate rain...with a few embedded thunderstorms...will move east at 25 mph across the North Carolina mountains through midnight. Most of the rain will be confined to the area south and west of Interstate 40...with the thunderstorms moving across Macon and southern Jackson counties. Rainfall will generally be less than one half inch. The rain should taper off from the west during the late part of the evening. |
