Now Residents of the eastern third Mississippi will likely witness some scattered showers...and perhaps a rumble of thunder or two from now through 8 am. The heaviest rain should be confined to places between Meridian and Starkville...and the rain is moving to the northeast. Total rainfall amounts by 8 am should be on the order of one to four tenths of an inch...with a few higher amounts possible with the heaviest showers. |
