Now A large area of showers and thunderstorms will continue to track to the southeast across north central and central Missouri this morning. The heaviest rainfall will be in a band from around Grant City...Bethany and Princeton...southeast through Milan...Macon...Brookfield...Moberly and Fayette. Additional rainfall amounts of an inch to an inch and a half will be possible. This heavy rain will cause problems for motorists this morning...with reduced visibilities...ponding of water on roadways and water accumulating in low lying areas. The rain should gradually taper off during the late morning hours. |
