... Areas of dense fog this morning...

Dense fog has developed across most of the area... with the
exception of the more urbanized locations in and near the city of
Detroit. Visibilities in the fog will be a half mile or less. Some
locations will experience visibilities to near zero at times. The
fog will gradually lift around 9 am. Motorists should slow down
and allow plenty of room between you and the vehicle in front of
you.
