Coastal Flood Watch
Statement as of 2:43 PM EDT on May 11, 2008

... Coastal Flood Watch remains in effect from Monday evening
through Tuesday morning...

A strong area of low pressure will cross the area late tonight
through Monday. A period of strong onshore winds on Monday...
coupled with tidal departures already running 1 ft or more above
normal... could produce moderate coastal flooding for coastal
Maryland... Monday evening through Tuesday morning.

A coastal Flood Watch means that conditions favorable for
flooding are expected to develop. Coastal residents should be
alert for later statements or warnings... and take action to
protect property.
