Wind Advisory

... Wind Advisory remains in effect from 10 am this morning to
6 am EST Thursday...

A Wind Advisory remains in effect from 10 am this morning to 6 am
EST Thursday.

An area of low pressure off the Delmarva coast this morning will
rapidly intensify today as it slowly lifts northeast off the New
Jersey coast by this evening. As a result of this rapid
strengthening... winds will increase dramatically this afternoon
and continue into the evening hours with winds of 20 to 30 mph
with gust 40 to 45 mph possible. Expect winds to gradually decrease
after midnight... as the area of low pressure slowly moves east
away from the coast.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph or higher are
expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult...
especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
