The Flood Warning continues for
the Ouachita River at Columbia.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 7:00 am Sunday the stage was 68.8 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 65.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 70.0 feet by
Saturday morning. Additional rises may be possible thereafter.
Expect moderate to severe flooding in the lowland river bottoms.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Ouachita River at Monroe.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 6:00 PM Sunday the stage was 47.7 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 40.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 48.5 feet by
Thursday morning then begin Falling. Water is flooding the underclearance
of the desiard street bridge. Major lowland flooding is taking place
between the levee systems.

At 415 am...the National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated an area of patchy light rain and a few isolated showers over northeast and north central Louisiana...from near Bastrop...to Rayville and Hebert. Movement was to northeast near 30 mph. Expect this patchy rain to move across the Mississippi by daybreak. Isolated rainfall amounts will be at most a few hundredths of an inch.
