The Flood Warning continues for
the Atchafalaya River at Morgan City.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 6:00 PM Sunday the stage was 4.3 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* The flood stage is 4.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river is expected to fluctuate between 4.3 and 4.4 feet
through tomorrow.
* Impact... at 4.0 feet... the impact on river side Industry will lessen
as the river begins to recede.

Through 9 PM...scattered showers and possibly a few thunderstorms will develop across portions of the lakes area of southeast Texas...as well as central and southern Louisiana. Storms will move east at 20 mph. The majority of the activity will be north of a Woodville to Alexandria line. Moderate rainfall will be possible with this activity. Rainfall rates will be around one half inch per hour.
