The Flood Warning continues for
the Ouachita River at Columbia.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 7:00 am Sunday the stage was 68.8 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 65.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 70.0 feet by
Saturday morning. Additional rises may be possible thereafter.
Expect moderate to severe flooding in the lowland river bottoms.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Ouachita River at Monroe.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 6:00 PM Sunday the stage was 47.7 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 40.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 48.5 feet by
Thursday morning then begin Falling. Water is flooding the underclearance
of the desiard street bridge. Major lowland flooding is taking place
between the levee systems.

At 3 am...the National Weather Service meteorologist...in Shreveport...using Doppler radar...indicate patchy light rain and showers extending to the southeast of a line from near Bastrop Louisiana...to Winnfield to near Pitkin Louisiana. Also...an area of patchy light rain and showers extends to the west of a line...from near Nashville Arkansas to near Longview Texas...to near Lufkin and Livingston Texas...moving to the northeast near 30 miles an hour. Expect patchy rain to increase across the area through the night. Rainfall amounts will range from a few hundredths of an inch to one tenth...through 4 am.
