The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a high
wind watch... which is in effect from Monday evening through
Tuesday morning.

Northeast winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts to 50 mph can be
expected Monday night into Tuesday morning as Ida moves across the
north central Gulf of Mexico and then turns northeast away from
southeast Louisiana and south Mississippi.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A high wind watch means there is the potential for a hazardous
high wind event. Sustained winds of at least 40 mph... or gusts of
