The Flood Warning continues for
the Mississippi River at Baton Rouge.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 9:00 am Sunday the stage was 36.9 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river is expected to fall to a stage of 36.6 feet
by tomorrow morning and continue to fall to a stahe of 35.8 feet
by Friday may 16th.
* Impact... at 37.0 feet... river traffic and Industrial activity on the
river side of the levees will be greatly affected. Navigational
safety regulations will be strictly enforced.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Mississippi River at Red River Landing.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 7:00 am Sunday the stage was 54.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* The flood stage is 48.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river is expected to fall to a stage of 53.6 feet
by tomorrow morning and continue to fall to a stage of 52.8 feet
by Friday may 16th.
* Impact... at 51.0 feet... all river islands along The Reach from Red
River Landing to Baton Rouge will be inundated. Recreational camps
and river bottom farm land will be under water.
