the Illinois River at Meredosia.
* At 10:15 am Monday the stage was 439.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 432.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will be near 438.9 feet tomorrow morning.
Additional rises may be possible thereafter.
* Impact... at 438.0 feet... main Road in Valley City overtopped
* impact... at 436.0 feet... city of Meredosia plugs storm sewer
outlets.
* Impact... at 435.4 feet... Meredosia boat dock floods

The Flood Warning continues for
the Illinois River at Beardstown.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 945 am Monday the stage was 22.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 14 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to a stage of 21.7 feet
by tomorrow morning.
