Statement as of 4:13 am MDT on October 11, 2008

... Winter Weather Advisory now in effect until 12 PM MDT Sunday...

The Winter Weather Advisory is now in effect until 12 PM MDT
Sunday.

Snow will spread across the Snake River Valley today and continue
through Sunday morning. Snowfall amounts of 3 to 6 inches are
expected by Sunday afternoon. Strong northerly
winds... particularly through the Arco desert region... may produce
areas of blowing and drifting that may reduce visibilities below
one mile.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while driving.

... Freeze warning remains in effect until 9 am MDT this morning...

A freeze warning remains in effect until 9 am MDT this morning.
