Now An area of strong to severe thunderstorms will continue to push east southeast this morning...an impact areas from Tama...to Grinnell and Oskaloosa through 11 am. Isolated wind gusts of 50 to 60 mph are possible...along with hail to penny size. The storms will produce hourly rainfall amounts of one half to three quarters of an inch of rain...with minor street flooding and ponding water expected. Motorists should also be prepared for isolated 40 to 55 mph wind gusts on the back edge of the rain as it ends. |
