Now Strong to severe thunderstorms will continue to push southeast this morning...and reach areas from Tama...to Newton and Indianola around 10 am. Isolated wind gusts of 50 to 60 mph are possible...along with hail around quarter size. The storms will produce a quick half to three quarters of an inch of rain...with minor street flooding and ponding water expected. Farther north...other scattered storms will affect areas from Iowa Falls through Waterloo...with brief heavy rain...but no severe weather. |
