the Des Moines River at Tracy.
* Until further notice... or the warning is cancelled.
* At 8:00 PM Sunday the stage was 14.4 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will fall below flood stage Monday afternoon.

... The urban and small stream flood advisory remains in effect until
130 am CDT for southern Mahaska County...

At 1226 am CDT... heavy rain had ended across most of the advisory
area. However... lingering runoff from the previous heavy rain may
result in continued minor flooding for the next hour.

Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the
roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross
safely. Move to higher ground.

To report flooding... have the nearest law enforcement agency relay
your report to the National Weather Service forecast office.
