Lake Wind Advisory
Statement as of 3:43 am EST on November 9, 2009

... Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 9 am this morning to 6 PM
EST this evening...

The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a lake
Wind Advisory... which is in effect from 9 am this morning to 6 PM
EST this evening.

Winds will blow out of the east at 15 to 20 mph with gusts as high
as 35 mph possible today. The windy conditions will be a response
to a tightening gradient between tropical cyclone Ida in the Gulf
of Mexico and strong high pressure to our north.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A lake Wind Advisory indicates that winds will cause rough chop
on area lakes. Small boats will be especially prone to capsizing.
