Now Isolated thunderstorms will affect the northwestern portion of Mainland South Florida through 830 PM EDT. This activity will be most concentrated in the region between La Belle and Okeechobee. Wind gusts to 35 mph...occasional cloud to ground lightning strikes...and torrential downpours...with rainfall rates up to one inch per hour...can be expected with the strongest activity as it moves northwestward at 20 to 25 mph. Elsewhere around the area... expect isolated very light showers or areas of sprinkles to continue through dusk before dissipating. |
