| Now windy conditions continue....a few showers across Volusia County... Through 4pm a few small showers will continue to move onshore and inland across Volusia County. Other small showers will approach the coast of Brevard and Indian River counties. The strong pressure gradient between Tropical Storm Ida in the eastern Gulf of Mexico and high pressure in the Atlantic will keep the winds strong and gusty today...especially along the coast where wind gusts to 30 mph are possible the surf will remain rough...especially around high tide between 1 and 3pm this afternoon. A high threat of rip currents continues. Winds will gust above 25 mph at times over inland areas and a lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until this evening. |
