... Dense smoke advisory in effect from 11 PM this evening to
10 am EDT Sunday...

The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a dense smoke
advisory... which is in effect from 11 PM this evening to 10 am
EDT Sunday.

Smoke from the fire over the southwest section of Lake Okeechobee
is expected to affect portions of the area overnight. As winds
become light and variable... along with the stable atmosphere in
place... patchy dense smoke is expected near Lake Okeechobee.
Motorists travelling along U.S 27... U.S. 98... U.S. 441... U.S. 78
or any roadways near Lake Okeechobee overnight should drive with
extreme caution as visibilities could be suddenly reduced to a
quarter of a mile or less.

A dense smoke advisory means fires will create smoke... limiting
visibilities. If driving... slow down... use your headlights... and
leave plenty of distance ahead of you in case a sudden stop is
needed.
