... A Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect until 515 PM MDT
for central Kiowa and northern bent counties...

At 431 PM MDT... a severe thunderstorm was reported capable of
producing Golf Ball size hail... and damaging winds in excess of 60
mph. This storm was centered 7 miles south of Haswell... or 33 miles
northeast of La Junta... and was moving toward the southeast at 25
mph.

This storm has increased significantly in intensity between 425 and
430 PM.

Locations impacted include...
Fort Lyon.
John Martin Reservoir.
McClave.
Hasty.
Caddoa.

If possible... without risking your safety... protect property before
the weather hits. Get in a sturdy structure and away from windows. An
interior room on the lowest floor... or a basement can offer the best
protection.
