... Summer like temperatures expected for the second-half of this
week...

A significant ridge will build across California this week as much
warmer air is pumped into the state from the south. This will
provide the hottest temperatures so far this year to many locations
beginning on Wednesday. Many interior areas will see high temperatures
in the 90s for Wednesday through Friday with isolated spots surpassing
100 degrees. In addition... daytime relative humidity values will
decrease to less than 20 percent in many interior spots which will
help to increase the fire danger.

Persons planning outdoor activities later this week such as
biking... hiking... or camping should be prepared for very warm
conditions and take extra precautions against the heat including
carrying an ample supply of water.
